  1. Photolithography Patterning

    As semiconductor fabrication houses have done more work over the last few years at the 200mm wafer scale, Deposition Sciences, Inc. developed a new photolithography production line capable of patterning wafers of this size. They can also pattern wafers containing active devices for their customers looking to integrate their electronics with optical filters.

It’s manufactured via a controlled acid etch process yielding uniform diffused surfaces for anti-glare and high resolution.  They can be used for vision panels, doors, windows, display cases, and much more.

  5. Optical Coatings for 122nm-1100nm

    Acton offers optical coatings for use in the 122nm to 1100nm range for a variety of applications, including excimer laser vision correction systems, semiconductor laser and metrology systems, both government and university laboratories, and in industrial and analytical instrumentation.

  6. Lumogen Coatings

    Acton Optics’ METACHROME is a Lumogen stack coating optimized to increases a detector’s quantum efficiency in the UV spectral region. It emits light at approximately 540 to 580nm when excited with light below 450nm. It becomes transparent at >450nm wavelengths, and as such, will not negatively impact a detector’s quantum efficiency in the VIS and NIR regions.

    Ross Optical’s coating machines provide outstanding quality where considerations for film hardness, optical performance, and laser damage threshold are concerned. IR coating services are available for the wavelength between 2 and 12 microns (except on standard coatings such as broadband AR, single wavelength AR, Rmax, beamsplitters, etc) on substrates like germanium and silicon.
