Laser Line Mirrors

Source: Optics Balzers AG

Optics Balzers has successfully developed and tested a special dielectric layer system with PARMS coating technology, making it possible to manufacture 45°-HR mirrors for 1030nm applications with an established destruction threshold of 0.44J/cm² at 210fs. These mirrors are typically used in ultra-short pulsed systems of Yb:YAG solid-state lasers.

The Nd:YAG laser line mirrors are designed with an outstanding LiDT greater than 70J / cm² at 1064 nm (10 ns pulses) for Nd:YAG 1064 nm lasers and their harmonics of 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm. The high level threshold and the reflectivity of R>99.5 % for s- and p-polarized light makes them well suited for all industrial applications.

The Ti:Sapphire laser line mirrors are designed for Ti:Sapphire laser applications from the ns down to fs range. The high level threshold and the reflectivity of R>99.7 % for s- and p-polarized light makes them well suited for all industrial applications. All standard laser line mirror dimensions are ½” and 1”. Other customized dimensions are available upon request.
