Abrisa Products

  1. Protective, Repelling, and Oleophobic Coatings for Glass and Ceramics
    3/2/2015

PRO-AR399 optical abrasion resistant coatings repel dirt, dust, water, grease, and oil. They’re ideal for glass or ceramics specified for heavy use in harsh environments (not including high UV exposure) and can be applied to substrates as thin as 0.2mm, and thicker than 100mm. This coating type is part of Abrisa Technologies’ CleanVueTM PRO series.

  2. Anti-Glare Glass and Specular Gloss Units
    1/28/2015

Abrisa Technologies' anti-glare glass allows its users to focus solely on the displayed image without interference from reflected images. It’s manufactured via a controlled acid etch process yielding uniform diffused surfaces for anti-glare and high resolution.  They can be used for vision panels, doors, windows, display cases, and much more.

  3. Common Glass Edge Treatments
    12/22/2014

Glass edging can be done to improve a glass’s dimensional tolerance, functionality, cleanliness, appearance, and even resistance to chipping. Abrisa Technologies' edging treatments include cut/seam, machine ground (pencil and flat), and machine polished (pencil and flat).

  4. Grey Glass
    10/9/2014

Grey glass (also known as smoked glass) is ideal for glass shelving or table tops, partitions, shower doors, windows, storefronts, building exteriors, or any other glass surface area that calls for restricted or reduced light transmission for privacy, the prevention of fading in furniture, carpeting, artwork, etc.

  5. Optical Solutions for Medical Design
    7/15/2014

  8. High Ion Exchange (HIE) Glass: Fully Integrated Solutions
    12/1/2011

Recent agreements have expanded Abrisa Technologies’ specialty glass product line to include Corning® Gorilla® Glass, SCHOTT Xensation™ Cover glass, and AGC Dragontrail™. Abrisa Technologies can now provide diverse portfolio of thin glass options to the display, defense, medical and industrial markets as well as any customized fabrication solutions required including the application of thin film coatings, various edge treatments, custom cutting and drilling, screen printing, Bus Bars and more.

  9. Front Surface Mirrors
    6/13/2011

Abrisa Technologies provides front surface mirrors or first surface mirrors for a broad scope of optics applications. Front surface mirrors have over-coated dielectric layers that are vacuum deposited on the surface of a clear glass substrate to increase reflectivity and protect against humidity and abrasion. The sharper image created by a front surface mirror lacks the ghosting effect of a conventional mirror.

  10. Precision Hot Mirrors for Heat Control
    2/23/2011
Heat control filters are a type of dichroic filter that is used to remove unwanted energy (heat) emitted from a light source. Abrisa Technologies, ZC&R Coatings for Optics division provides precision hot mirrors for medical, aerospace * defense, entertainment, life sciences, digital photography, and a host of other industrial applications.
