These stages are ideal for industry and research scanning applications, such as biotechnology, laser beam control, optics scanning, lens testing, and fiber optics. They are equipped with a linear encoder for direct position measurement and choice of cable exit direction.

    PI (Physik Instrumente) L.P. will be showcasing the newly released A-311 PIglide IS Series compact, planar XY air bearing stage at SPIE Photonics West. The stage is designed to deliver extremely precise and vibration-free motion, making it ideal for metrology, wafer inspection, laser marking, and other precision motion applications. PI, who was named a 2016 Photonics Prism Award finalist with its Fast Multi-Axis Photonics Alignment system, will also showcase innovative nanopositioning stages, piezo, voice coil and linear motors, hexapod 6-axis parallel positioning systems, beam steering and fiber alignment equipment.

Positioning systems based on ultrasonic ceramic direct-drive motors provide very high dynamics and resolution in a compact, low-profile package.   9. PI’s Newest 32mm Wide x 7mm High Compact Rotary Stage

    PI (Physik Instrumente) has recently announced the Q-632 as the newest piezo inertia drive rotary stage to the existing product line of compact linear and rotary systems. This compact micropositioning drive features a 30 mm turnable diameter with a 360° rotation range, and is only 32 mm wide and 7 mm high.
