    As the usability for hexapods increase, PI is responding with new hexapods to meet those project needs - the H-850KML, 500kg high-load hexapod and the H-825KLL, compact hexapod with load capacity to 35kg. Both systems provide sub-micron precision.

  3. New Multi-Axis Positioning Family: Vertical, Rotary, Linear Stages From PI

    PI recently developed its new family of linear, rotary, and Z-axis stages to meet those demanding requirements. The new motorized positioning stage family is available with high-resolution encoders and a choice of stepper and servo motors. Lower cost open loop models are also offered, as well as vacuum versions. The use of high performance components makes these stages ideal for industry and research, especially in high duty cycle applications.

  6. PI Launches 2nd Generation PInano® Piezo Stage For SR Microscopy

    PI has recently released a 2nd generation of its successful PInano® product line of high resolution XY/XYZ multi-axis positioning systems. The digital servo piezo controller offers the advantage of higher linearity, simple operation, and easy access to advanced features in comparison to conventional analog piezo controllers. It provides responsive real-time tracking, and it supports PI's unique Fast Focus & Freeze capability, where the unit can be bumplessly switched from external (focus) sensor to internal (capacitive, SGS or piezoresistive) sensor, allowing precise, calibrated, stable motions with respect to the focal plane.

  7. 2016 Neuroscience Conference Debuts PI's Ultra-Stable Microscope XY Stage Packages

    Physik Instrumente will introduce two new compact XY microscope stages based on ultrasonic piezo direct-drive motors. Model U-761 provides 25 x 25 mm travel and is equipped with 10nm resolution linear encoders, model U-780 provides 135 x 85 mm.
