MKS' Ophir® Business Unit Announces High Accuracy M2 Laser Beam Propagation System For Continuous Use Applications

MKS Instruments, Inc. recently announced the BeamSquared™, a new M2 laser beam propagation system from Ophir® that measures the quality of the beam to optimize performance. BeamSquared is a compact, portable device that provides automated measurements of the propagation characteristics of CW and pulsed lasers in under one minute. It is durable and operationally robust, ensuring reliable, high accuracy measurements of lasers. Users can run the system in automated mode from UV to NIR, and telecom wavelengths, and in manual mode for terahertz and CO2 laser beams.

Ophir Photonics Announces New Thermal Laser Power Sensors With Wide Dynamic Range, Low Noise, Fast Response Time

Ophir Photonics Group recently announced the F50A-BB-18 thermal power/energy laser measurement sensor. Designed for continuous use at higher laser powers, the F50A-BB-18 is a compact, fan-cooled sensor with a wide dynamic range. It measures powers from 10mW to 50W and energies from 6mJ to 50J. The sensor includes a spectrally flat BB (broadband) coating, usable from far UV to far IR.

Ophir Photonics Announces FluxGage All-in-One LED Luminaire Measurement System

Ophir Photonics Group recently announced the FluxGage, a compact, all-in-one LED luminaire measurement system. The patent-pending FluxGage measures flux, color, and flicker, important quantities for evaluating the performance of LED-based products. The measurement system is three times smaller and lower cost than equivalent integrating sphere products. It is designed for use by R&D during development and production for incoming inspection and quality control of new and replacement parts, allowing LED luminaires and modules to be sorted for consistency.

Ophir Photonics Announces New Features For StarBright, Advanced Laser Power/Energy Meter

The new update to the StarBright handheld laser power/energy meter is the ability to measure the instantaneous power of a laser pulse. This is especially useful for measuring lasers in high power applications. StarBright can now also be used to measure total energy exposure with a Photodiode sensor, a big plus for photolithography applications.

Ophir Photonics Group recently announced the new Helios compact laser power meter designed specifically for measuring high power lasers in industrial processing applications. This device measures high power solid state lasers with powers from 100 W to 12 kW and energies from 10 J to 10 kJ.

Ophir Announces Photodiode Sensor For Measuring Power Of Laser Bar Code Scanners And Laser Printer Scanners

Ophir Photonics Group recently announced the BC20-V1 laser sensor for measuring the power of scanned or intermittent beams. The BC20-V1 is a photodiode sensor that measures any wavelength over the spectral range of 400 – 1100nm. It is the only product on the market that is capable of measuring the power of laser bar code scanners; it also measures laser printer scanners and the peak power of pulsed mode lasers.

The EA-1 is designed for OEMs who need Ethernet connectivity and want to control the sensor via their own custom software.

Ophir Photonics Group announces at SPIE Photonics West 2016 the RM9-PD Radiometer, a sensor for measuring the power of very low level CW or quasi CW sources. The RM9-PD integrates a photodiode sensor and an 18Hz chopper into an easy-to-use system that measures very low powers, and is calibrated over the entire range of wavelengths, from 0.2µm to 1.1µm.
