  1. High Accuracy Laser Beam Dimensional Measurement: NanoScan™ 1

    The NanoScanTM 1 is a scanning slit beam profiler that acquires laser beams with 12-bit digitization. It then measures and analyzes the laser’s beam and pulse frequency to help determine accuracy and stability. The system can measure beam sizes from microns to centimeters, and from power ranges in the microwatts to over kilowatts, often times without the need for attenuation. Additionally, the beam profiler can be outfitted with different detector types in order to work with lasers operating at wavelengths from UV to far IR.  

  2. Laser Beam Diagnostics: PyroCam™ Pyroelectric Array Camera

    Pyrocam pyroelectric array cameras by Ophir Photonics have been designed to create clear and illuminating images of IR and UV laser beam profiles in both 2D and 3D views. They cover the 13 to 355nm and 1.06 to >3000µm spectral ranges and can be used with CO2 lasers, telecom NIR lasers, THz sources, excimer lasers, and Nd:YAG lasers.

  3. Laser Beam Measurement Software: BeamGage®

    Accurately determining a laser beam’s size, shape, uniformity, and approximate expected power distribution are absolutely critical to understand in today’s boundary pushing laser designs. BeamGage beam profiling software is based on Ultracal, the company’s patented baseline correction algorithm that helped establish the ISO 11146-3 standard for beam measurement accuracy. Ultracal is the only beam profiler algorithm to set the baseline to zero and in the center of the noise. BeamGage also features BeamMaker® - a modal beam generator that simulates laser beam profile data as if it were coming from an external camera, including input conditions like signal-to-noise, background offset, and bits per pixel resolution. BeamMaker is to laser analysis as a function generator is to an oscilloscope.

    The 100K-W laser power meter measures very high power NIR, Nd:YAG, and fiber lasers used in thermal ablation, heavy-section welding, metal forming, and other industrial materials processing applications. It’s also well-equipped to handle military directed-energy applications.

  5. Laser Spot Size and Position Monitoring for YAG and Fiber Lasers: BeamWatch®

    The BeamWatch® system instantly measures the focus spot size of high power YAG, fiber, diode, and disk lasers and dynamically measures focal plane location during start-up. It uses disruptive technology to monitor a laser beam at frequent intervals without having to shut down the process or remove tooling features to make adjustments.
