Discover The New Bandpass Filter BP 850-80 HT From Schneider-Kreuznach
9/29/2020
Schneider-Kreuznach is pleased to present the new BP 850-80 HT infrared filter as an addition to its range of bandpass filters. This filter has been specially developed for applications with powerful infrared high-power LED’s (850nm), which are becoming increasingly popular. Cameras equipped with these LED’s can deliver night-time images up to 20-30 meters. The Schneider-Kreuznach infrared filter in combination with an 850nm LED light source produces strong and shadow-free infrared illumination that is visible to many sensors but invisible to the human eye. Therefore, it is perfectly suitable for the use in surveillance systems and industrial applications.

Compact TFL-Mount Lenses For High-Resolution Cameras With 4/3” Sensors From Schneider-Kreuznach
6/24/2020
The resolution of modern sensors is increasing with every generation. Pixels are getting smaller and while the sensor itself is getting bigger. It shows that the standard C-Mount is too small to provide a high image quality over the whole sensor size. While F-Mount bayonet is not stable enough and M42 does not allow compact lens designs. In contrast, the new standardized TFL-Mount with its M35x0.75 thread and 17.52 back flange distance (same as C-Mount) is ideal for large-format compact lenses.

Discover The 1 mm Optical Filters From Schneider-Kreuznach
5/7/2020
Filters play an important part in an imaging system. They block unwanted wavelengths and troublesome surrounding light, while selected wavelength ranges are transmitted at a high percentage. As an optical element the filter must fulfill some requirements to ensure that it has no impact on the resolution of the complete system. The quarter wave wavefront distortion also ensures that the MTF is not affected. Our 1 mm thin filters with a high surface quality are developed to be placed between lens and sensor. Equipped with the Schneider-Kreuznach typical coating with high transmission and steep slopes, they are the ideal choice for challenging machine vision applications.
