Since 1985, PG&O has been developing specialized solutions for precision and commercial applications globally. From our 18,000 sq. ft. optical manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, California, we deliver a broad array of products from flats, prisms, beamsplitters, to precision thin film coatings, including dichroic, dielectric, and metal. Our specialized optical thin film coatings operate in the spectral range from 250 nanometers out to 2.5 microns. We are fully equipped to handle many types of custom optics, from prototype through high-volume production.

PG&O's quality control (QC) system utilizes the fundamentals of MIL-I-45208A as well as the optical manufacturing disciplines of MIL-PRF-13830B. Our quality system is compliant with ISO 9002; we maintain these and other QC principals to meet and/or exceed customer requirements.

PG&O’s new sapphire optics operate from the visible out to the infrared spectral wavelengths. The thermal and scratch-resistant substrate is exceptionally durable and able to withstand extremely harsh environmental conditions as well as temperature variations. 

PG&O Precision Glass & Optics provides complete optical solutions that operate in ranges from the mid-ultraviolet (mid-UV) into the visible and out to the infrared wavelength regions.

PG&O Precision Glass & Optics introduces finished infrared optics for a range of applications, including biomedical, industrial, military/defense, homeland security, surveillance systems, automotive, fire control, lasers, night vision, and more. 

PG&O’s latest beamsplitters features a 200:1 extinction ratio, thus maximizing the split between S&P polarization. This can be a critical factor in many different high-power level tasks, particularly for optics applications up to 10J/cm2 pulsed and continuous wave.

Littrow dispersion prisms are used to limit lasing to a specific wavelength in many optics applications. This is ideal for laser cavities, spectrographs, and other optical systems in which it is critical that a specified wavelength not be exceeded when a sample (tissue or otherwise) is subjected to a laser’s light.
