For applications demanding sub-micrometer precision—such as fine positioning, alignment, or adjustment—PI’s M-235, L-220, and M-230 linear actuator series provide reliable, high-performance motion control.

PI’s motorized high-resolution actuators deliver precise force and motion in a compact design, offering travel ranges from 10 to 77 mm and feed forces up to 125 N. Their low backlash and linearly guided, non-rotating tips reduce tilt and eccentricity errors commonly seen in rotating-tip actuators, ensuring accurate and repeatable positioning.

Available with closed-loop DC servo and stepper motors, these actuators achieve speeds up to 30 mm/sec and minimum incremental motion as fine as 0.05 µm. Self-locking variants provide strong holding force for stable positioning without continuous power.
