  1. Mil-Rugged-High Resolution Snapshot SWIR Camera: 1280JS
    9/5/2012

Sensors Unlimited - UTC Aerospace Systems introduces its compact next generation J-Series SWIR digital video camera. It features a 1.3MP high-resolution, high-sensitivity InGaAs imager with a new snapshot mode capability. The 1280JS camera is lightweight (less than 120 grams or 4 ounces without lens) and compact (less than 4.5 cubic inches or 74 cubic centimeters), allowing for easy integration into aerial, mobile and hand-held imaging systems. It provides real-time daylight to low-light imaging (including partial moonlight) in the SWIR with high sensitivity in the 0.9 to 1.7 µm spectrum for persistent surveillance, laser detection, and penetration through fog, dust, and smoke. Optional NIR/SWIR technology is available to extend the sensitivity of Sensors Unlimited cameras down to 0.7 μm, offering the advantage of both Near Infrared (NIR) and SWIR wavelength response.

  2. High Sensitivity, Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) Cameras
    4/24/2012

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace's full suite of high resolution, near-infrared (NIR) and shortwave infrared (SWIR) linescan and area cameras have been designed to meet the needs of a many different markets, offering superior image quality.

  3. Compact InGaAs Line Scan Camera For Machine Vision: 1024LDM
    3/24/2011

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace introduces their new Compact, InGaAs SWIR Line Scan Camera for Machine Vision, Sorting, & Solar Inspection. The 1024LDM line-scan camera features high resolution, 1024-pixel imaging in the shortwave infrared (SWIR). Its square pixels are ideal for inspection of polished silicon blocks, ingots, or wafers, hot glass bottles, and for use on continuous-process lines that apply transparent coatings which can be ‘seen’ in the SWIR spectral region.

  4. SWIR Camera For UAVs
    8/31/2010

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace has introduced the smallest SWaP (size weight and power) short wave infrared camera for unmanned vehicles. The 640 x 512 pixel (25µm pitch) camera weighs 120g (less than four and a half ounces) with the 23mm f/1.15 lens, providing a 40-degree field of view. The <4.9 cubic inch total volume allows it to easily fit on board most unmanned aerial or ground vehicle systems (UAS or UGS). Currently the low-SWaP camera is installed in the nose cone of a Raven hand-launched unmanned aerial system.

  5. 92 KHz SWIR Digital Line Scan Camera For High Speed SD-OCT Imaging: LDH2
    5/3/2010

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace LDH2 high speed camera features an increased line rate to over 91,900 lines per second, making it ideal for spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging applications.

  6. SWIR Cameras For Photovoltaic Inspection
    6/11/2009

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace announces that high resolution, shortwave infrared (SWIR) area and linescan cameras are being used to improve the manufacturing yield of photovoltaic cells. SWIR technology is well suited to monitor the quality of solar thin films, concentrated PV, and crystalline cells, to maximize efficiency of the solar cell manufacturing process through final assembly of the completed modules.

  7. Software For SWIR Imaging: Image Analysis Software
    2/13/2009

Image Analysis Software by Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace.

  8. NIR/SWIR Night Vision And Laser Detection Camera
    3/17/2008

Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace has launched a night vision and laser detection camera that can see from the near infrared (NIR) to the shortwave infrared (SWIR) portions of the light spectrum, beyond what traditional night vision goggles can see.

  9. Extended Wavelength InGaAs Linear Photodiode Arrays: LC Series
    3/12/2008

Now available in machine vision and spectroscopy formats, the extended wavelength LC-series linear InGaAs photodiode arrays from Sensors Unlimited – A part of Collins Aerospace have set the standard for high performance. The proprietary readout integrated circuit design contains functions that reduce dark current for applications that demand the highest performance. The LC package provides a “no moving part” solution for vibration resistant, highly calibrated instruments that require long term stability. Other applications include industrial process control and inspection in agricultural sorting, biomedical analysis and thermal imaging.

  10. Digital Linescan Camera For High Speed, High Resolution Applications
    7/23/2007

Sensors Unlimited's revolutionary, near infrared (NIR) InGaAs camera increases line rates for 1024 pixels to over 46,000 lines per second, making this linear digital linescan camera ideal for optical coherence tomography (OCT) and high data rate industrial process control
