This year, Kimberly Quinones gave us a tour of the booth, starting with miniature portable and rugged spectrometers for applications in the UV, VIS, and NIR range, and then moving on to a Raman spectroscopy setup for raw material identification, pharmaceutical analysis, and more.

  7. Why Are You Still Using HeNe Lasers? 2/9/2015

    PD-LD’s booth has significantly grown since we last saw them. It might have something to do with their SLM 632.8 laser diode, a true alternative to HeNe lasers. Bob Struthers walked us through a side-by-side comparison of the two laser types, and the results are impressive, to say the least. If you’re still using an HeNe laser, you probably want to watch this.
