ZYGO's new VerifireTM HD Interferometer System is designed to provide transmitted wavefront measurements of optical components and assemblies, and fast, high-resolution measurements of flat or spherical surfaces. The system features a high-speed, 2k x 2k pixel CCD camera and an optimized optical design to reliably measure surface features. The Mx™ software package provides the ability to calculate mid-spatial frequency content with Power Spectral Density (PSD) and the diffraction simulation tool.
The Verifire™ system has built-in QPSI™ technology that removes ripple and phase noise caused by common sources of vibration on the production floor. This system also utilizes a unique, powerful laser that is designed and built in-house for a much longer laser life span. With multiple modular options and configurations, the Verifire™ HD Interferometer is ideal for measurements of glass or plastic optical components like flats, lenses, and prisms, precision metal components like computer disks, bearing and sealing surfaces, as well as polished ceramics, and contact lens molds.
