Portable Laser Power Meter: PRONTO-250-EZ-Y Datasheet

The PRONTO-250-EZ is a compact, handheld laser power and energy meter designed for demanding environments, combining performance, flexibility, and user-friendly operation in a rugged, easy-to-clean package.

Adapted from the PRONTO-250-FLEX, this model adds the convenience of on-the-go cleaning, making it ideal for industrial, laboratory, and field applications where dust, debris, or other contaminants may be present.

With three calibration options, users can tailor the device to their needs: the default “Y” calibration covers visible to NIR wavelengths (248 nm to 2.5 µm), the “C” calibration supports CO₂ lasers at 10.6 µm, and the “E” calibration enables energy measurements with ±5% accuracy. This flexibility ensures that customers only pay for the calibrations they require, optimizing both functionality and cost.

Despite its mid- to high-power capabilities, measuring from 0.5 W to 250 W, the PRONTO-250-EZ remains pocket-sized and highly portable. Its color touchscreen LCD offers an intuitive interface, allowing measurements with a single touch, while internal memory and USB connectivity enable straightforward data logging and transfer to a PC.

The device supports hands-free operation using its flat base or integrated threaded holes for optical stand mounting, and serial command functionality provides complete remote control from a computer. High damage thresholds and low noise levels further ensure accurate measurements across a wide power range. The PRONTO-250-EZ combines convenience, precision, and adaptability, making it a versatile solution for users needing reliable laser measurements in challenging environments.
