Improved Edge Steepness With New MaxLine E-Grade Filters

Raman spectroscopy uses laser line filters to block unwanted laser light. Semrock's MaxLine and RazorEdge filters are high-performance options. The RazorEdge E-Grade filters have steeper edges, allowing for better Raman signal collection closer to the laser line.

Previously, MaxLine filters did not work optimally with E-Grade RazorEdge filters due to insufficient edge steepness. The new E-Grade MaxLine filters address this issue with their increased edge steepness.

Additionally, the E-Grade MaxLine filters feature an angle-tilt feature. By adjusting the angle of incidence (AOI), the filter's red edge can be shifted to a lower wavelength, providing further separation from the RazorEdge filter.
