HyperFlux Spectrometer Series

Source: Tornado Spectral Systems

The HyperFlux spectrometer platform by Tornado Spectral Systems eliminates the need for a slit to achieve high resolution through the use of proprietary High Throughput Virtual Slit (HTVS) beam reformatting technology. HyperFlux instruments achieve >90% total optical throughput resulting is a spectrometer that no longer requires its user to sacrifice light throughput for better spectral resolution, or vice versa.

HyperFlux spectrometers are currently available in 532 nm, 633 nm, 785 nm laser excitation configurations, as well as factory-adjustable bandpass and resolution options to meet your requirements.

Traditional spectrometers use a slit to achieve high spectral resolution at the expense of light throughput. This trade-off results in high-resolution dispersive spectrometers undergoing a significant decrease in total optical efficiency (less than 1% in some applications). The HyperFlux spectrometer line achieves at least an order of magnitude better throughput than conventional high-end systems without sacrificing resolution to deliver a higher quality signal.

Key Benefits:
