In our study, we analyzed a PbSe thin film photoconductor's spectral response using FTIR at different temperatures. By comparing voltage and current preamplifiers, we found that circuit configuration significantly influences the response. Existing commercial data often overlooks this, leading to discrepancies. Our research demonstrates predicting response trends within 25K accuracy, offering a valuable method for understanding PbSe photoconductors' behavior across circuits.
