Everything You Need to Know About IR – Virtually
LC Talks Hosts its 1st Global Virtual Event
Bedford, NH – December 03, 2020 - LASER COMPONENTS held its first Infrared Sessions workshop in its new virtual format called LC Talks. The event was held over two days, with 450 participants from 35 countries around the world in attendance. Attendees engaged in learning about the latest developments in IR technology from 20 short presentations.
“We have adapted the experience gained from previous IR WORKshops into virtual format,” explains Joe Kunsch, head of IR Components, Germany, and the initiator of the series. We are seeing a new quality in IR technologies and applications. Internally, we refer to it as a milestone, in which we offer a global forum. We were able to present this event over multiple time zones. Those who live in Asia and Australia for example, had the option of registering to watch the recordings after the live sessions”.
“A virtual event of this scale requires extensive planning,” says Michaela Böhme, logistical coordinator for LC Talks. It was worth all of organization and coordinating in order to put on this event, and are proud to have created a successful event series.”
The 2nd Global Infrared Sessions is scheduled to take place on January 19 and 20, 2021. As part of the LC Talks series, LASER COMPONENTS is planning similar virtual events for other product lines, as we move forward in both product and event technology.
