Beamsplitters With 1000:1 Extinction Ratio

The 1000:1 extinction ratio polarizing cube is a very high-performance beamsplitter designed to precisely split up the S & P polarization of light operating in a wide variety of wavelengths.
With extinction ratios from Tp/Ts 1000:1 and Rs/Rp 1000:1, the entrance and exit faces of the cube beamsplitters are carefully coated with anti-reflection (AR) coatings to greatly improve the performance of the cube. The 1000:1 extinction ratio fully maximizes the split between S&P polarization, an essential factor in many laser tasks. The transmission and reflection ratios elevate the level of proficiency in beamsplitter thin-film coating technology.
With PG&O’s advanced optical coatings that operate from 200 nm – 2500 nm, these innovative polarizing cube beamsplitters also feature laser damage threshold up to 12 megajoules per cm2 and can be customized to meet the critical specifications of customers and many demanding applications.
The new 1000:1 extinction cube polarizing beamsplitters are used in tasks where two polarization components need to be accurately analyzedor used simultaneously. They are ideal for use in the ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared and mid-IR wavelength ranges.
These specialty beamsplitters are often utilized to isolate polarized beams in laser systems, and are well-suited for other optical applications, such as polarization-sensitive interferometry, spectroscopy, and quantum optics.
