The purpose of this symposium is to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of experience and information as well as sharing recent findings in the field of single photon based quantum technologies. The symposium will cover a rather broad range of topics: - single-photon detectors and sources - metrology and sensing - correlations and entanglement - communication and QKD - integrated photonic quantum circuits Researchers from all over the world will meet on PicoQuant’s quantum symposium in Berlin. The invited speakers are: - Benito Alén (CSIC, Spain) - Mete Atature (University of Cambridge, UK) - Dirk Englund (MIT, USA) - Xiaolong Hu (Tianjin University, China) - Christoph Marquardt (MPL Erlangen, Germany) - Tanja Mehlstäubler (PTB Braunschweig, Germany) - Ana Predojevic (Stockholm University, Sweden) - Franco N. C. Wong (MIT, USA) The deadline for the submission of abstracts is on 31 January 2020 and the deadline for the registration is on 25 April 2020.
