XY(Z) Integrated Multi-Axis Positioning System With Controller: X-417
The X-417 from PI is a multi-axis positioning system that delivers an integrated solution for industrial applications with high demands on dynamics and precision. XY or XYZ systems with suitable ACS high-performance controller are available with several travel ranges from 204 to 407 mm.
The X-417 has an XY base system made of two V-417 high-load linear stages with linear motor and absolute-measuring linear encoder. With the XYZ systems, an L-412 high-load linear stage with 102 mm travel range, synchronous servo motor, and holding brake is used as Z axis. The XY and XYZ systems are also available with a granite plate. The stages are ideally used in a wide range of laser machining, test and inspection, and electronics production applications.
