Waterproof Radiometer Detectors

Waterproof detectors are used with their research radiometers to conduct underwater light measurements and other studies in wet environments. The IL Underwater Radiometer Detectors are suitable for use with the model IL1400A and IL1700 Research Radiometers, and permit real-time integration without data loss. The detectors feature quartz diffusers for cosine spatial response, and are packaged in anodized aluminum housing with O-ring seals, and water-blocked polypropylene reinforced cables up to 600 ft. long.

Suitable for a wide range of spectral studies from 200 to 1100 nm, and low light levels down to 0.5 pW/cm², the detectors and their radiometers provide direct readings in any optical units and autoranging during exposure integrations without any gain changes.
