The Vacuum-Compatible 6-Axis Hexapod: H-850.V from PI can position heavy loads up to 80kg, featuring heavy-duty, reliable precision bearings that allow applications with long duty cycles. Fields of application are research and industry, including astronomy, optics positioning, and aerospace.
H-824.V positioners are suitable for vacuum environments to 10-6 hPa. The parallel-kinematic design for six degrees of freedom makes it significantly more compact and stiffer than comparable serial kinematic systems. Advantages include improved path accuracy and repeatability with the elimination of potential cable management issues.
