Updated ProEM EMCCD Camera Brochure Now Available

Princeton Instruments is pleased to announce an updated 48-page ProEM EMCCD cameras brochure - the highest performance EMCCD camera platform offered to the scientific imaging market to date.
This new brochure includes enhancements to the ProEM line including availability of Princeton Instruments' proprietary eXcelon back-illuminated sensors that provide significant improvements in sensitivity and fringe suppression for a variety of applications including Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC), solar astronomy, multi-spectral imaging and plasma diagnostics.
The new ProEM 512BK, with the exclusive on-chip mask for ultrafast kinetics, is also included in this latest version. The 512BK EMCCD allows illumination of exactly two rows and delivers burst frame rates in excess of 1 million frames per second. The external blades provide a "variable kinetic mask" for increased sensitivity. The new spectra-kinetics option provides higher sensitivity (via binning) than our standard kinetics mode and is ideal for capturing longer duration events.
ProEM cameras are also compatible with PI's new 64-bit LightField acquisition software. LightField provides cutting-edge user interface to control ProEM cameras and to streamline experimental setup, data acquisition, and post processing. For example, users can stream thousands of images directly to hard drive with hardware based time stamping for precise measurement of process kinetics. ProEM cameras are also the first and only scientific grade EMCCD cameras offered with a Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) interface for speed and flexibility.
