Scottsdale, AZ -- Universal Laser Systems, Inc. announced the introduction of the industry's smallest 10-watt CO2 laser. At a mere 13.5"L x 2.8"W x 3.85"H, the basic OEM version weighs only 7.25 lbs.

The new 10-watt laser has an integrated RF supply, has excellent power stability and can be retrofitted into current 10-watt CO2 installations. Universal offers the 10-watt laser in four configurations that include air- and water-cooled OEM versions and air- and water-cooled Class IV versions (completely self-contained, CDRH- and CE-compliant).

"The compact size of the 10-watt laser will be a strong selling point for companies with space constraints. The flexibility of air or water cooling provides an ideal solution for all types of OEM equipment with critical design criteria," notes Gary Higman, OEM Sales Manager at Universal Laser Systems, Inc. "With the two Class IV versions available, universities and research facilities will have a laser source with excellent power stability and performance." Higman adds, "Manufactured with proven ULS technology, the new laser is the most innovative and advanced design of its kind."

Universal Laser Systems backs their CO2 lasers with a standard 15-month warranty. They offer engineering assistance to help customers with integration into OEM equipment as well as a NO RISK Laser Evaluation Program for qualified OEMs.
