unique-m.o.d.e. develops, manufactures and globally markets high-power diode laser systems (up to 10 W) based on broad area emitters (single emitters). These diodes laser systems have their main applications in the markets telecommunication, laser pump sources, medical laser treatment, graphics arts and micro-material processing.

Using a novel beam shaping technology unique-m.o.d.e. is able to couple the light from the laser diode into fibers with a very small core and numerical aperture yielding a globally unique brightness for this type of emitter. The diode laser systems are supplied as compact and robust units.
