Ultraviolet Transmitting, Visible Absorbing Filters Catalog
Source: HOYA Corporation USA Optics Division
Hoya offers dark glass (nearly black) filters that are capable of transmitting the ultraviolet region, but absorb the visible region. These filters are ideally used for single extraction of ultraviolet rays, and are often utilized for selectively transmitting the 253.7 nm and 365 nm wavelengths, which are representative of line spectra of mercury lamps. Download the catalog for more specifications, as well as graphs depicting internal transmittance.
