Ultra-Low Noise Laser Rangefinder Receivers

Voxtel’s ROX Series of laser rangefinder receivers (LRFR) are ideal for applications involving laser range finding, free-space optical communications, LADAR/LIDAR, optical coherence tomography, telecommunications, optical time domain reflectometry, fluorescence measurements, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, and chromatography.

These Laser Rangefinder Receivers have a 950-1700nm spectral response, a 70 dB dynamic range (with 0.3 m range precision over the entire dynamic range), 10 nW sensitivity to reduce laser pulse energy measurements, 85,000 hrs MTBF, and more. An integrated high gain, low noise avalanche photodiode (APD) provides superior range and a low false alarm rate. Custom designed CMOS application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and processing circuits are also integrated into the laser rangefinder receivers to provide flexible system integration and reliable performance.
