Edmund Optics recently developed their own in-house solution to verify optical coatings, and the result was the DIC microscope. At Photonics West 2015, Stefaan Vandendriessche met with us to give us the story on how the microscope came to be, and what it can do. This interesting perspective gives their “What Can We Make For You” slogan some serious legs.
