A diode-pumped disk laser for industrial materials processing generates 10 W of continuous-wave output at 1064 nm, with a power stability of 1%. The JOL-D 10 is also available as a pulsed-mode system, producing 0.5 mJ, 45-ns pulses at repetition rates of up to 100 kHz. Diameter of the TEM 00 beam is 0.9 mm; pointing stability after warmup is 10 mrad/K.
