Video Test Generator

The 822S is a video test generator that features full 36-bit color depth which allows production and engineering users to test high resolution displays. The generator features a configurable mainframe that lets users choose between monochrome outputs for the medical industry and color outputs for the computer display industry. The generator's video noise specification is under 5 mV and jitter is less than 90pS. The product features a USB port to support bitmap download of .bmp files.

The generator is a self-calibrating, pixel resolution signal source that allows precision generation of video signals. Over 130 standard test images and over 150 popular formats come preprogrammed inside the unit, including 18 HDTV formats. Custom formats, images, and sequences can be created and stored using the built-in user interface, or by using a PC and a Windows 9x, NT based software program that comes with the generator.
