Telops, recognized for its innovation and expertise in hyperspectral imagery, is pleased to announce recently the launch of its newest infrared camera the TS-IR. This rugged, IP67 rated, high performance infrared camera is a significant addition to Telops’ innovative line of cooled infrared cameras. This expansion reinforces Telops’ position as a leader in the high performance infrared camera market.

The TS-IR is available in multiple configurations including midwave, longwave, and very longwave. Performance, ease of use, and the ability to customize the instrument have been ingeniously integrated into the camera’s design.

With its sealed enclosure and rugged design, the TS-IR is ideal for use in harsh environments. An optional Thermography Package enhances the camera’s ease of use by offering Telops patent pending, Real-Time Temperature Calibration algorithm which provides either raw or thermally calibrated data in real-time without any need for external blackbodies. This package also includes Automatic Exposure Control (to adjust the exposure time according to the scene's dynamic temperature variations), Enhanced Dynamic Range Imaging (to cover extended scene temperature ranges), WiFi Data Transfer, Internal Memory and more. These options allow the TS-IR cameras to be customized to meet very specific applications. “This new versatile infrared camera follows the evolution of Telops’ product line helping scientists benefit from high performance, easy to use infrared cameras tailored for their specific applications“, says Frédérick Marcotte, Product Line Manager at Telops.
