Tabletop Vibration Isolation System: Onyx Series
The Onyx Series is comprised of tabletop vibration isolation systems designed to isolate sensitive microscopes and research equipment from the vibrations caused by foot traffic, HVAC systems, nearby operating machinery, etc. These systems are ideal for use in optical microscopes, precision inspection stations, highly sensitive lab equipment, micromanipulation, interferometry, and profilometry.
The Onyx Series tables consist of dense steel tabletops supported by pneumatic air-isolators. The air-isolators use clean, dry air to eliminate contaminates and are easily inflated using an air-pump or other automatic air sources. Additional features include a low profile of 60 mm tall, high stiffness and rigidity for maximum isolation, and no requirements for special hardware or tools.
