The SpecVision™ SVX-7 In-line Video Inspection Scope provides a comprehensive solution for surface visual inspection of connectors, bare fibers, and diverse optical components. Utilizing a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor, the scope offers magnification levels of 200x or 400x to identify fine scratches and defects. The system features a universal mating mechanism that engages with all Krell workholders, ensuring quick and easy alignment for monitoring each step of the polishing process or performing final quality assurance. This in-line technique is essential for saving time and improving yields by eliminating the need to transfer components to a traditional microscope for verification.To ensure the highest level of detail, SpecVision™ utilizes coaxial white LED lighting with adjustable intensity. This uniform illumination enables scratches and imperfections to be seen clearly across the entire endface, including specialized components such as PM bare fibers, waveguides, and lenses. The scope is lightweight at only 0.75 lbs and is entirely USB powered, interfacing directly with the included laptop for a streamlined workspace. Specialized optics are also available for viewing multifiber connectors, including MTP, MPO, and MTX types, providing a versatile inspection solution for the most advanced photonic assemblies.
