These instruments come with a built-in floppy disk drive enabling personal data storage, easy transfer of methods and data to other UV Series instruments or PCs for further processing and a fast upgrade path. Built-in software and graphics screen give total flexibility to run spectra and process data independent of a PC. Alternatively, users can acquire a Microsoft Windows (95, 98 or NT) controlled system for power and flexibility or have local control and PC control for different levels of instrument sophistication.
