Labsphere's Spectralon® reflectance material is a thermoplastic resin that can be machined into a wide variety of shapes for the fabrication of optical components. Spectralon gives the highest diffuse reflectance of any known material or coating over the UV-VIS-NIR region of the spectrum. The reflectance is generally >99% over a range from 400nm to 1500nm and >95% from 250nm to 2500nm and is resistant to UV degradation with NIST traceable calibration.
With the ability to machine the material in-house, Labsphere is able to customize the design of the material specifically to customer requirements.
