CRI, Inc. spatial light modulator was developed for use as a telecommunications tool. It provides dynamic control over ultrafast laser pulses at 1330 and 1550 nanometers and has a working range of 400-2000 nm. It enables researchers to manipulate phase and amplitude characteristics of spectrally-dispersed femtosecond laser beams to change the temporal and wavelength components of telecommunication signals.
