Sonoma Photonics, Inc. (SPI) relocates to their new 22,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Santa Rosa California

On September 7, 2001 Sonoma Photonics, Inc. (SPI) relocated to our new 22,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in Santa Rosa California.

This new facility has multiple clean room production laboratory areas, which accounts for over 30% of the manufacturing floor space. Sonoma's products of DWDM, Gain Flattening (GFF) Red, Blue filters along with Waveplate Retarders, Wavelockers and Polarizers will be manufactured utilizing the latest production methods.

Founded in May of 2000 by Mike Robbins and Jim Brosnan formerly of Deposition Sciences Inc. and Optical Coating Laboratory Inc. Sonoma Photonics is developing in house state of the art capabilities for thin film coating processes and equipment along with precision optical component fabrication to support the Telecom, Aerospace, and Scientific communities.
