Solite Ultra-Transparent Patterned Glass Provides Diffusion For A Host Of Lighting And Solar Applications

May 17, 2023 – Santa Paula, CA – Abrisa Industrial Glass (AIG), a division of Abrisa Technologies, stocks a broad selection of Solite, an ultra-transparent, optically clear, low iron float glass with a distinctive symmetrical stippled/diamond pattern on one surface.

Solite patterned glass provides uniform diffusion/softening while retaining high transmission values and minimal absorption.

Unlike plastics or other composite materials, Solite patterned glass does not yellow over time, thereby retaining its optical clarity and performance characteristics. Solite patterned glass is ideal for LED downlights, spotlights, solar panels, and flood light applications where light beam management “spread” is required.

Acting as a filter or a uniformity lens, Solite delivers better light control for an even, softened, diffused beam spread without glare or flashpoints. Abrisa Technologies currently stocks Solite in thicknesses of 1/8” with sheets in both rounds and squares for custom fabrication requirements.
