Smart CMOS Camera for Limited Space and Harsh Environments
The VC nano tube is a smart CMOS camera developed from a customer request asking for a small, intelligent CMOS camera with a round and dust-proof housing with integrated lighting. The camera needed to be integrated into a limited space application while being subjected to dust, dirt, and humidity.
The VC nano tube smart CMOS camera utilizes a protective IP65 enclosure that houses the remote camera head, a 12 mm S-Mount lens, and eight high-power LEDs. The processor and other electronic components remain inside the standard nano housing.
This CMOS camera provides 32 MB Flash and 128 MB DDRAM memory. Its 700 MHz processor has a computing power of 5,600 MIPS. The integrated global shutter CMOS sensor provides clear pictures even in extremely fast applications. With a 55 fps frame rate, the VC nano tube smart camera records images with a 752 x 480 pixel resolution.
