Tamron, a world leader in industrial and OEM lens assemblies, has recently selected Sierra-Olympic Technologies as the new stocking distributor for the cost-effective Tamron LWIR Zoom Lenses.
The Tamron LWIR Zoom Lenses operate in the 8 - 14 µm spectral range. There are two zoom range models available with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings, 35-105 mm
and 50 - 150 mm, and one zoom range model with an anti-reflective (AR) coating, 35 - 105 mm. All models feature superb parfocality (focus through zoom). The lenses also provide continuous, precision athermalization, low weight, and low power. With a standard M34 x 0.5 mm thread mount, the Tamron LWIR zoom lenses can be easily used with most microbolometer cameras.
