Arroyo Instruments' 4300 Series LaserSource laser driver is an excellent solution for medium power applications, such as high power pump lasers, free space lasers, and high power fiber-pigtailed devices. It would also fit well with many of the high power LED devices. The compact enclosure of this laser driver takes up very little of your workspace, and its price offers an excellent value.

The 4300 laser driver also offers an optional Quasi-CW (QCW) mode, a feature only found on units costing several times as much. With QCW mode, you can operate the device at a low duty cycle, which mitigates the thermal loading on the device and allows you to run at higher output powers than would otherwise be achievable with CW operation. With the special measurement circuitry in the 4300, measurements can be taken even in QCW mode, something not possible when externally triggering a laser driver using a square wave input on the modulation port.
