RSoft's Optical Communication Design Suite allows users to design and simulate current and next generation optical communication systems at the signal propagation, network architecture, and packet level.

Currently four software packages are part of the suite:
OptSim, ModeSYS - Simulate single mode and multimode optical communication systems at the signal propagation level. MetroWAND - Models network design, network engineering, and network planning. Artifex - Simulates discrete event systems through the Petri Nets formalism.
