The Richardson Grating Laboratory has been making high-quality diffraction gratings for fifty years. During that time, we have assembled the world's largest inventory of master gratings from which replica gratings can be made in a matter of weeks. This inventory contains hundreds of plane and concave gratings, both ruled and holographic, as well as dozens of echelle gratings. In addition to our extensive selection of catalog gratings, we can make custom gratings for unique applications. We have employed our technical expertise to help customers in industry, academia, and research and development, in such diverse fields as spectrophotometry, fluorescence, astronomy, laser tuning, and pulse compression.

The Richardson Grating Laboratory was formerly part of Milton Roy Company, and was inaugurated by Bausch & Lomb in 1947.
