Retinal Displays Scores Venture Cap Money

Noro-Moseley Partners invested $2 million in Retinal Displays Inc., developer of next-generation display technology. Other co-investors of the company include Alta Partners in San Francisco, Apex Investment Partners in Chicago and Amadeus Capital Partners in London.

Retinal Displays has developed a digital lens technology that magnifies and illuminates a tiny microdisplay image. Improvements in weight and optical design flexibility have led to high-brightness, high-resolution displays with significantly lower power and cost. Applications include wearable computing devices, portable DVD/video game players, and PC/TV desktop displays and business projectors.
