Red And NIR Color Filter Series

Schneider Optics offers red and NIR color filters designed with a maximum of 50 % transmittance and are used to increase the contrast of a monochrome image by isolating spectral regions and lighting colors. Ideal uses for these filters include traffic control, night vision, machine vision, line inspection, food and beverage inspection and other NIR imaging.
The IR filters are absorptive filters as well. They are used in front of a NIR sensor or an image sensor for NIR imaging where IR spectrum only is needed. The type of the filter depends on color and the object illumination.
