Qioptiq Introduces New Rodenstock HR Digaron Macro 5.6/105 Digital Lens

Innovative Lens Combines High Imaging Performance and Extreme Magnification Range for Professional Photography

Qioptiq, an Excelitas Technologies Company and global technology leader in delivering innovative optical and photonic solutions, introduces its new Rodenstock HR Digaron Macro 5.6/105 Digital Lens for professional photography. The high-resolution, digital photography lens features a floating element to deliver high imaging performance and a large magnification range.

The new Rodenstock HR Digaron Macro 5.6/105 Digital Lens features:

• Floating element optic which enables high quality over a full magnification range of -0.25 to 4.0x.
• Focal length of 105 mm delivers a working distance of 100 to 420 mm, making it ideal for positioning light to the object.
• Large image circle of up to 82 mm allows the lens to be used with a camera sensor size up to full frame medium format (sensor size 56 x 36 mm).
• Low distortion of < 0.4% results in almost no visible distortion to meet the demands of digital photography applications.
