Protective filters are used to protect a sensor, a lens or a complete measurement system. Sometimes they are mounted as gauge glass. Often, it’s just a window, a glass that passes VIS suited with a standard AR coating. Features include high transmission, low reflection, and high reproducibility capabilities.
