Princeton Instruments Appoints New Sales Engineers And OEM Business Manager

Princeton Instruments is pleased to announce the appointment of new sales engineers. These include two regional positions in the United States for Physical Science Sales, one for MEGAPLUS industrial cameras and an OEM Business Manager.

Ms. Lynn Melton has been recently hired to cover the Southeastern states including South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Lynn's previous experience includes most recently working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Ocean Optics. The Rocky Mountain/Northwest states are now in the capable hands of Tim Osbourn, who is based in Broomfield, Colorado. Tim has most recently worked for EMD Chemicals. Both Lynn and Tim will be responsible for sales and application support for PI's CCD, EMCCD and ICCD cameras as well as spectrometers and systems for the university and government research markets.

Sheridan Haggerty has joined the PI team in the new position of OEM Business Manager to specifically dedicate support and resources to our valued OEM partners. Sheridan has served in a number of commercial sales and marketing roles with companies that occupy the OEM analytical instruments/research space; most recently with SGE Analytical Science. Collectively, this team actively supports PI's OEM partnerships, providing unparallel technical expertise and commercial direction to allow partners to meet and exceed their expectations when bringing innovated products to market.

Additionally, Preston Barrett has been tapped as the new sales engineer for PI's MEGAPLUS line of industrial cameras. Preston has over ten years experience in the imaging industry. He has previously held positions at Pixel Vision, Sarnoff and most recently with VersaLogic Corp.

Bill Keating, VP of Sales and Marketing, explains, "These additional sales engineers allow us to continue to improve upon our goal to provide superior support to our industrial, OEM and research customers."
