KrellTech’s Precision Rubber Pads are ground to absolute flatness to ensure consistent contact across the entire polishing matrix. A variety of disk hardness levels provides the ability to strictly control endface geometries during the polishing process, with standard pads available in 90 durometer (black) for firm support, 70 durometer (purple) for medium-hard precision, and 40 durometer (orange) for flexible geometry adjustments.

For flat surface processing, specialty options include glass disks and hybrid rubber-glass disks, which are ideal for bare fibers, SMA connectors, and MT-style multifiber connectors. To further protect equipment and improve system longevity, replaceable wear liners are available for both the base polisher and platen contact surfaces, eliminating the need for messy lubricants and maintaining consistent polishing contact.
